An established engineering business is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to bolster their finance team. Reporting directly to the Management Accountant, this role is ideal for someone with experience looking for a fresh opportunity within a leading firm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Processing sales and purchase invoices
- Resolving purchase ledger queries
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Monthly BACS payment runs
- Credit control
- Weekly bank reconciliation
- Journal entries
- Processing and payments for weekly payroll
- Processing starters, leavers, statutory payments and holiday pay
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a similar varied finance role
- AAT qualification desirable
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft packages
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
