This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to develop their finance career within a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase ledger invoices and ensuring accurate coding
- Matching, batching and reconciling supplier invoices
- Assisting with sales ledger duties and raising invoices
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Supporting credit control activities and monitoring outstanding payments
- Assisting with payment runs
- Processing employee expenses
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Providing support with month-end procedures
- Assisting the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative and accounting duties
About You
- Some experience within an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar finance role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
- Competent user of Microsoft Excel
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
