Must have’s

• Previous experience in an accounts or finance role with a strong understanding of purchase ledger and sales ledger processes
• Experience using accounting software and financial system, Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work collaboratively within a small finance team

Nice to have’s

• AAT Level 4 qualification
• Experience supporting month-end and year-end processes
• Knowledge of accruals, prepayments and intercompany reconciliations

So, what will you be doing?

• Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices
• Managing invoice approvals and nominal ledger coding
• Handling supplier queries and statement reconciliations
• Processing bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assisting with cash flow forecasting
• Managing payment runs through online banking
• Processing accrual and prepayment journals
• Completing intercompany reconciliations
• Supporting month-end, year-end and audit activities
• Monitoring the finance inbox and responding to queries
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
