Description
- Accurately record financial transactions and maintain up-to-date ledgers.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and process invoices and payments in a timely manner.
- Assist with payroll and tax filing requirements.
- Assist with producing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
- Provide assistance during audits and financial reviews.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry is advantageous.
Job Offer
- A salary of around £30,000 per anum
- Temporary contract offering flexibility and valuable experience.
