NXTGEN are working with a growing Accountancy Practice to recruit an Accounts Assistant into their expanding team. What you'll be doing:

• Preparing year end accounts for a varied client portfolio
• Preparing VAT returns and supporting bookkeeping
• Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax computations
• Building strong client relationships and responding to day to day queries
• Working alongside senior team members on a range of accounts and advisory work

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice
• AAT qualified, studying towards AAT, ACCA or ACA, or qualified by experience
• Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero
• A positive attitude and genuine ambition to continue developing your career
