Accounts Assistant in Chappel

A client of ours on the outskirts of Colchester is recruiting an Accounts Assistant on a full-time or part-time basis. The role is initially temporary for 3 months, with the potential to become permanent. Pay is negotiable depending on experience.

Your key duties in this Accounts Assistant role will include but are not limited to:

• Supporting with day-to-day accounts duties
• Processing invoices, payments and general financial transactions
• Assisting with purchase and sales ledger
• Maintaining accurate financial records and data
• Using Sage to support general accounts administration

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:

• Previous experience in an accounts/finance role
• Good all-round knowledge of accounts processes
• Sage 50 experience is essential – Sage 200 experience would be advantageous
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Candidate must be able to drive, as the company location is not easily accessible by public transport
