The Role you will be doing;
As Accounting Manager, you will oversee all financial accounting activities across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with both statutory requirements and internal group standards. You will play a key role in driving process improvement, enhancing reporting accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise accounting operations across your area of responsibility
- Manage the monthly close process and ensure accurate, timely reporting
- Ensure compliance with statutory, fiscal, and group accounting standards
- Oversee tax compliance including declarations and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate audits and manage relationships with external advisors
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes
- Partner with controlling teams on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions where required
- Lead, develop, and motivate a team, including performance management and training
About You;
- Proven experience in a senior accounting or finance management role
- Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting, tax, and compliance
- Experience of managing month-end and year-end processes
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capability
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Comfortable working within a structured, process-driven environment
- Proficient in ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred
