As Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger function, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and supporting month-end deadlines. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Knowsley.

Our client is a well-established and highly respected business based in Knowsley. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable to join their finance team and support the efficient processing of supplier invoices on a full-time, permanent basis. Interviews ASAP.

Description

The Accounts Payable Clerk duties include:

• Process a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Match invoices against Goods Received Notes
• Purchase Orders
• Supplier queries
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Support month-end activities and ensure strict deadlines are achieved.
• Assist with ad hoc finance and administrative duties as required.

Profile

A successful 'Accounts Payable Clerk' should have:

• Experience within an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role.
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to investigate and resolve issues independently.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
