Due to continued growth and an upcoming move to larger offices on the outskirts of Salisbury, our client is looking to recruit a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their friendly and family-oriented team.
This opportunity would suit someone from a smaller practice background who enjoys a hands-on role with clients and is looking to develop within a supportive environment.
The RoleYou will be involved in a broad range of responsibilities, including:
- Accounts preparation
- Tax returns
- VAT returns
- Handling client phone queries and providing advice
- Reviewing work
- Supporting and training junior staff
This is a varied, client-facing position where you will work closely with a wide range of businesses and build strong long-term relationships.
The Candidate- Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
- Ideally from a small to medium-sized firm
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Organised, hands-on, and proactive approach
- Looking for a long-term opportunity within a collaborative team
- Part time, or fixed-term contract considered
- Flexible working available
- Primarily office-based due to the collaborative structure of the business
- Circa £30,000 – £35,000 FTE, with flexibility for the right person
