Semi Senior Accountant

Due to continued growth and an upcoming move to larger offices on the outskirts of Salisbury, our client is looking to recruit a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their friendly and family-oriented team.

This opportunity would suit someone from a smaller practice background who enjoys a hands-on role with clients and is looking to develop within a supportive environment.

The Role

You will be involved in a broad range of responsibilities, including:

  • Accounts preparation
  • Tax returns
  • VAT returns
  • Handling client phone queries and providing advice
  • Reviewing work
  • Supporting and training junior staff

This is a varied, client-facing position where you will work closely with a wide range of businesses and build strong long-term relationships.

The Candidate
  • Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
  • Ideally from a small to medium-sized firm 
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Organised, hands-on, and proactive approach
  • Looking for a long-term opportunity within a collaborative team
Working Pattern
  • Part time, or fixed-term contract considered
  • Flexible working available
  • Primarily office-based due to the collaborative structure of the business
Salary & Benefits
  • Circa £30,000 – £35,000 FTE, with flexibility for the right person
