Working alongside senior colleagues, you’ll prepare accounts for a varied portfolio, get involved in tax and VAT work, and develop your technical skills across both accounts and audit assignments.
What you’ll be doing
- Preparing financial accounts for a range of clients — accurately and to deadline
- Assisting with corporation tax, personal tax computations and VAT returns
- Supporting senior colleagues on client deliverables, timescales and budgets
- Communicating clearly with clients and providing a professional service
- Keeping work to technical and regulatory standards
- Contributing to team improvements and your own CPD
What you’ll bring
- Part-qualified AAT/ACA/ACCA (or actively studying towards it)
- 3–4 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
- Client-facing confidence and strong communication
- Proficient in Excel and well-organised across multiple tasks
- A dependable, self-motivated team player with strong attention to detail
What’s on offer
£30,000 – £38,000 depending on experience, 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, and a company pension. Office-based, with study support and room to grow.
