We are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing and dynamic accountancy practice seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join their expanding team. This is a varied and rewarding role, offering exposure to a wide range of clients and services, along with excellent benefits and flexibility.

The Role

As an Accounts Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and tax services. Responsibilities will include:

  • Bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns for a diverse client portfolio
  • Preparation of financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
  • Corporation tax computations
  • Self-assessment tax returns
  • Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc accounting and advisory work
  • Assisting with payroll where required

The Ideal Candidate

  • AAT qualified (or qualified by experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within practice
  • Strong technical knowledge across accounts and tax
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied workload

Working Hours

  • Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5:00pm (36.25 hours per week)
