An established and highly regarded accountancy practice is looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Senior to join its growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified accountant with practice experience who is looking to develop their career within a varied and client-focused environment.
Working with a diverse portfolio of businesses and individuals, the role offers exposure across accounts, taxation and advisory work, with genuine opportunities for progression towards a more senior or management position.
The Role
- Preparing statutory accounts for companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Preparing corporate and personal tax computations
- Assisting with management accounts and providing financial insight
- Supporting advisory work and dealing with client queries
- Reviewing working papers and supporting junior members of the team
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and in line with relevant accounting and tax requirements
About You
- At least 3 years' experience within an accountancy practice
- Experience preparing accounts and tax computations
- ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified or equivalent
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and tax compliance
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Good working knowledge of accounting software and Excel
