Are you an experienced acoustic consultant looking for a role where you can work on varied projects, develop your expertise and be part of a team that genuinely values its people?

My client is looking for an enthusiastic Acoustic Engineer to join a growing team of planners, designers, environmental consultants, engineers, and health & safety professionals.

Working with clients across both the public and private sectors, their team has grown to 200 people across the UK. They believe that good work starts with good people, and collaboration, a supportive culture and a people-first approach are central to how they work.

Duties of an Acoustic Engineer:

As an Acoustic Engineer, you will work across a range of projects, helping clients understand and manage noise and vibration challenges. Your work will combine site-based surveys, technical analysis and practical problem-solving.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Carrying Out Noise and Vibration Surveys at Sites across the UK.

* Using SoundPLAN Software to Undertake Noise Modelling.

* Developing Practical Noise Control Solutions Tailored to Project Needs.

* Preparing Clear, Accurate Technical Reports.

* Supporting Wider Project Work and Taking on Other Relevant Tasks as needed.

We are keen to hear from an Acoustic Engineer with a background in acoustic consultancy who enjoys working collaboratively and communicating technical information clearly.

A successful candidate would ideally bring:

* Proven Experience as an Acoustic Consultant.

* Associate Membership of the Institute of Acoustics or be working towards it.

* Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills.

* A Full UK Driving Licence.

Experience carrying out on-site noise measurements and using Microsoft Excel would also be beneficial.
