Ad Hoc Delivery Driver Required

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver for ad hoc assignments delivering mobility equipment to customers.

• Must be 25 years of age or over
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Have a current DBS check
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting and manual handling
• Previous delivery or warehouse experience preferred

• Packing, loading and unloading delivery vans and trucks
• Delivering mobility equipment to customers on designated routes
• Safely lifting, carrying and manoeuvring heavy mobility equipment, including beds, chairs, scooters and other healthcare products
• Assisting with the installation and positioning of equipment at customer locations where required
• Maintaining regular communication with route dispatchers
• Reviewing deliveries with customers to ensure accuracy
• Obtaining delivery confirmations from recipients
• Cleaning and servicing the delivery van ready for the next assignment
• Daily reporting and inputting of delivery metrics into store systems
• Assisting within the warehouse and backdoor operations as required
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures, including safe manual handling practices
