Ad Hoc Nanny

Academics are looking for caring, enthusiastic and reliable Unqualified Educators / Nannies to join our supply team. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced childcare professionals looking for flexible work across a range of family settings.

You will provide high-quality, nurturing care and support to children, helping to create a safe, stimulating and positive environment where they can learn, play and develop.

Assignments may include day-to-day supply work, short-term placements and longer-term opportunities, depending on your availability and experience.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing attentive and nurturing care to children.
• Supporting children's daily routines and individual needs.
• Planning and engaging children in age-appropriate activities.
• Supporting children's learning, development and well-being.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and stimulating environment.
• Building positive relationships with children and families.
• Following routines and guidance provided by parents or settings.
• Communicating professionally with parents, carers and the Academics team.

About You

• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Confident caring for children independently.
• Able to build strong relationships with children and families.
• Flexible and adaptable to different environments and routines.
• Proactive and able to use your own initiative.
• You don't need an early years qualification however this would be preferred. Experience is a must.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years' sole-charge nannying experience is a must!
• A valid 12-hour Paediatric First Aid certificate.
• Previous professional experience working with children.
• An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.
• Two suitable professional references.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A professional and reliable approach to childcare.
