About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced ADHD Assessors to support the delivery of outsourced ADHD assessments across Surrey.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified professionals looking for flexible work while supporting children, young people and/or adults through high-quality neurodevelopmental assessments.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive ADHD assessments in line with relevant clinical standards and guidance.

Complete clinical interviews, developmental histories and relevant assessment measures.

Review medical, educational, psychological and clinical information.

Work collaboratively with other professionals involved in the assessment process.

Provide clear, evidence-based diagnostic outcomes and recommendations.

Complete detailed clinical and diagnostic reports.

Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.

Ensure assessments are completed to a high professional standard.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
-
Relevant professional clinical qualification and current registration with the appropriate regulatory body, such as HCPC, GMC or NMC.

Specialist experience in ADHD/neurodevelopmental assessment.

Relevant postgraduate training in ADHD assessment and diagnosis.

Demonstrable experience completing comprehensive ADHD assessments and diagnostic reports.

Experience using recognised ADHD assessment tools and rating scales.

Strong understanding of ADHD and neurodevelopmental conditions.
-
Experience working with children, young people and/or adults.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage an assessment caseload effectively.
Desirable Experience
-
Experience conducting ASD assessments.
-
Training and experience in recognised autism assessment tools, such as ADOS-2 or ADI-R.
-
Experience working within an outsourced, independent or multidisciplinary assessment service.
-
Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT).
-
Experience providing recommendations and post-diagnostic support.
