Join a well-established Housing Association in an Administrative Assistant role, providing essential support to a busy team and helping to ensure residents receive an efficient and professional service. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive organisation, with an immediate start available and hybrid working once you are fully up to speed in the role.

You’ll be providing day-to-day administrative support, communicating with residents to arrange appointments and helping to coordinate access to properties for surveys and other appointments. You’ll also work closely with Housing Officers, contractors, consultants and Resident Liaison Officers to ensure enquiries are handled efficiently and services run smoothly.

We’d love to hear from anyone with a background as an Administrative Assistant, Housing Administrator, Repairs Administrator, Property Administrator, Customer Service Advisor, or experience within a similar administrative role. Previous experience working within social housing would be highly desirable.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be:

• Telephoning residents to arrange and book appointments
• Preparing letters and other correspondence
• Dealing with telephone and face-to-face enquiries professionally
• Liaising with residents, Housing Officers, contractors, consultants and Resident Liaison Officers
• Coordinating access to properties for surveys and other appointments
• Arranging and generating purchase orders as required
• Organising and setting up meetings using Microsoft Outlook or equivalent systems
• Taking and preparing accurate meeting minutes
• Carrying out electronic filing and retrieving information from internal systems
• Receiving visitors and providing a professional meet-and-greet service

I’d love to speak to anyone who has:

• Previous administrative experience, ideally within a social housing environment
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence communicating with residents, contractors and internal stakeholders
• Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office and Outlook
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• A professional, customer-focused approach

The role is offering the following benefits:

• £19.00 per hour
• 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Hybrid working once fully trained and up to speed in the role
• Immediate start available

This role is offering an hourly rate of £19.00.

Travel & Location

This role is based in Solihull, with hybrid working available once the successful candidate is fully trained and up to speed in the role. When first starting, you will be required to work from the office.
