Are you a graduate with a 2:1 degree or above, strong administrative experience and the ambition to take the next step in your career?

Our client is seeking an organised, proactive Administration & Business Support Manager to oversee key administrative functions, support senior leadership and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day business operations.

This is a varied, hands-on role covering administration, office operations, financial processes, team coordination and business improvement. You'll take ownership of essential business activities, work closely with senior stakeholders and identify ways to improve processes and efficiency.

We're looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, a strong attention to detail and the confidence to manage competing priorities in a busy professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day administrative functions, maintaining accurate records, databases and documentation.

  • Provide administrative support to senior leadership, preparing reports, presentations and business documents.

  • Manage, mentor and support the administration team, coordinating workloads and maintaining high standards.

  • Review and improve administrative processes, systems and ways of working.

  • Support financial administration, including invoicing, supplier management, debt collection and financial records.

  • Coordinate business operations, ensuring tasks, deadlines and responsibilities are managed effectively.

  • Organise company travel, accommodation, subscriptions and other operational requirements.

  • Maintain company records, supplier information and internal systems.

  • Support internal audits, compliance procedures and ISO requirements.

  • Coordinate onboarding and induction for new starters.

  • Liaise with senior stakeholders and internal teams, following up on actions and ensuring tasks are completed on time.

  • Assist with the implementation of new systems and operational improvements.

  • Coordinate internal meetings, events and business initiatives.

  • Provide wider administrative and operational support as required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Educated to degree level with a minimum 2:1 classification. This is an essential requirement.

  • Previous experience in administration, office management, business support, operations or a similar role.

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Confident liaising with senior stakeholders and colleagues at all levels.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.

  • A proactive approach, with the confidence to take ownership and work independently.

  • Experience coordinating administrative processes and improving efficiency.

  • Good numerical skills and an understanding of financial administration.

  • A professional, approachable manner and strong problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Experience

  • Supervising, managing or mentoring administrative team members.

  • Invoicing, supplier management, debt collection or financial administration.

  • Compliance, internal audits or ISO requirements.

  • Experience in property, building services, professional services or a similar corporate environment.

  • Supporting senior leadership or managing office operations.

The Ideal Candidate

You'll be highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable taking responsibility. You'll enjoy supporting colleagues, improving processes and ensuring the business runs efficiently. This role would suit a graduate with relevant administrative experience who is ready to develop their management skills and take on greater responsibility.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary of £40,000-£45,000.

  • Permanent, full-time opportunity.

  • Professional development and career progression.

  • A supportive and collaborative working environment.

  • Genuine responsibility and exposure to senior stakeholders.

  • London office based in Chancery Lane.
