Noodle Talent Partners are exclusively supporting a successful manufacturing business in recruiting an Administration Supervisor to join and lead their friendly administration team near Sutton Bridge/King's Lynn. 

Permanent, full time position working 37.5 hours per week- Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm with half an hour lunch break.

This is an office-based position overseeing the administration function to ensure all tasks are completed accurately & effectively whilst leading by example to ensure customers receive the best service..

The role

  • Supervising the day-to-day administration team including coordinating any coaching and training, 
  • Overall responsibility for the administration functions, ensuring all orders are processed efficiently from beginning to end, and assisting with ops/finance/sales administration
  • Create purchase orders for raw materials, stock, third-party orders, engineering parts & site supplies
  • Request logistics quotations and scheduling deliveries/collections with hauliers and freight forwarders for UK, European and Worldwide orders
  • Handle customer enquiries, process quotations and customer orders, checking all information before sending to the appropriate warehouse for despatch
  • Liaise with customers, production team and haulier to ensure the correct transport and date is booked for delivery when the customer needs it
  • Invoice customer orders and enter on customer portal where applicable
  • Keep check of stock stored on site for sister companies, printing documents for warehouse to despatch and invoice for storage costs at the end of month
  • Collate paperwork for export of orders to Europe and Worldwide.  Providing paperwork needed for import of stock and raw materials.
  • Oversee the administration for projects
  • Supervise administration and warehouse staff - completing 6-monthly reviews.
  • Deal with enquiries and complaints to resolution, reporting complaints and non-compliances on the management system
  • Work with the IT project team to enable changeover to a new CRM system, including data cleansing, discussing processes and new solutions
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems
  • Supporting compliance and wider team activities including reviewing costs and evaluating most economic solutions.
  • Assist with site health & safety protocols

Requirements

  • Existing people management/supervisory/team leadership experience, able to lead by example and ensure a positive team culture
  • An advocate of excellent customer service, both from yourself and your team
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship management with internal teams, customers, partners and suppliers
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Technically proficient with experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), experience with Microsoft Nav would be advantageous although is not essential

Package 

  • Salary of £35,000 to £36,500 dependant on experience
