Lynx Employment Services are recruiting on behalf of our client for an organised and customer-focused Administrative Support Officer to join a busy Parks and Greenspaces team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys providing high-quality customer service and supporting the delivery of valuable community services. Working in a hybrid environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of parks, greenspaces and allotment services.

## The Role

As an Administrative Support Officer, you will provide essential administrative and customer support, acting as a key point of contact for residents, tenants and stakeholders while maintaining accurate records and supporting the wider team.

## Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to telephone and email enquiries from residents, allotment tenants and stakeholders.
  • Manage the Parks and Open Spaces inbox, ensuring enquiries are dealt with promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases and electronic filing systems.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports and other documentation.
  • Organise meetings, including booking rooms, preparing agendas and taking minutes where required.
  • Support the administration of allotment waiting lists, tenancy records and site information.
  • Liaise with colleagues, contractors and site representatives.
  • Provide general administrative and technical support to the wider team.
  • Assist with covering administrative duties across the service when required.

## About You

We're looking for someone who has:

Previous experience in an administrative or office support role. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload. Good IT skills, including experience using databases and Microsoft Office. A professional and positive approach to dealing with enquiries. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

### Desirable

Experience working within local government or the public sector. Experience maintaining records and document management systems.
