Administrator in Aberdeen

We have a role for a temporary administrator for our client based in Aberdeen.

This role will last for a minimum of 5 weeks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, maintaining accurate records, coordinating communications, and assisting with day-to-day office functions.

Previous experience within a logistics, transport or warehousing is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining a high level of accuracy.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the management and operations teams.
  • Maintain and update employee, driver, customer, and operational records.
  • Process timesheets, attendance records, and payroll-related documentation.
  • Handle incoming telephone calls, emails, and correspondence professionally.
  • Input and maintain data accurately within company systems and databases.
  • Update reports, spreadsheets, and other documents as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and data protection requirements.
  • File and archive documents both electronically and manually.
  • Assist with customer queries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Support operational planning and daily logistics administration where required.


Essential Requirements

  • Previous administrative experience.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional and friendly approach when dealing with colleagues, customers, and candidates.


Desirable Requirements

  • Previous experience in a logistics, transport, warehousing, or recruitment agency environment.
  • Experience processing timesheets, payroll administration, or workforce scheduling.
  • Familiarity with transport management systems, recruitment databases, or workforce management software.
  • Knowledge of driver compliance documentation and onboarding processes.
