Construction Administrator
Location: Bedford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Duration: Long-term contract – approximately 4 years
We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Administrator to join a busy construction project in Bedford. This is an excellent opportunity to secure stable, long-term work on a major project expected to run for approximately 4 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to project managers and site teams
- Managing project documentation and records
- Processing purchase orders, invoices, and subcontractor paperwork
- Maintaining health & safety and compliance documentation
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Updating project trackers and reports
- General office and site administration duties
Requirements:
- Previous administration experience within the construction industry is essential
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent attention to detail
