Administrator (Full-Time Temporary) - Chorley
Our Client, a reputable organisation within the justice sector, is hiring for a dedicated Administrator to join their team in Chorley on a temporary basis until 25/09/2026. This role offers hybrid working with approximately 40% office attendance, supporting the Community Accommodation Service under the Wales and CAS Area Executive Director.
What you'll be doing:
* Providing routine administrative support following established procedures.
* Managing the Director's diary, ensuring appointments are up-to-date and prepared for meetings.
* Anticipating and resolving scheduling conflicts or issues at short notice.
* Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders, internal teams, and private offices.
* Updating databases such as leave sheets and staff movement records.
* Arranging meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing notes.
* Offering flexible support to Directors, Heads of Group, and Business Managers as needed.
* Collating data, responding to stakeholder requests, and supporting various administrative functions.
* Upholding high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
What you'll bring:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (or equivalent).
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and adapt quickly.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Commitment to diversity and quality in the workplace.
Additional details:
* Pay rate: £13.71 per hour.
* Working hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday.
* Must undergo HMPPS vetting (approx. 4-6 weeks).
* All candidates will be subject to security and identity checks.
* External candidates will be on a 6-month probation period.
