Our client is looking for an organised and proactive Administrator to join their friendly sales team. In this varied role, you'll play an important part in supporting the sales function, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly while providing excellent service to customers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous office experience who is looking to build on their skills and grow within a successful and expanding business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate global shipments, ensuring timely delivery to customers worldwide.
- Process sales orders accurately and maintain up-to-date records within the sales database.
- Support the sales team by preparing quotations, proformas, and handling customer orders and enquiries.
- Develop strong product knowledge to assist customers effectively and provide excellent service.
- Process returns promptly and carry out general administrative duties as required.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience in an office-based administrative or customer service role.
- Confident and professional telephone manner with the ability to handle customer enquiries effectively.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook; experience using a CRM system would be advantageous but is not essential.
