Your new company
A leading construction and infrastructure company is looking to recruit a temporary administrator until the end of the year. You will be supporting one of their projects and be based on site at an academy in Leyland. They are looking for someone to start mid-August with a view to interview from week commencing 3rd August.
Your new role
- Managing and responding to internal and external enquiries.
- Assisting with payroll administration and timesheet processing.
- Raising purchase orders and supporting purchasing activities.
- Monitoring, recording, and reporting site work activities.
- Processing invoices and supporting payment procedures.
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
- Supporting the team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in an administration role, ideally within construction, engineering, or a site-based environment.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to support the wider team
