Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking an Operational FM Project Administrator to support the delivery of projects and programmes within a Transformation Project Management team.
This role plays a key part in enabling service excellence by overseeing project administration activities that support strong governance, effective performance management, and consistent delivery across the business unit.
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of Operational Transformation projects within a government-focused business unit. You will support the implementation of agreed standards, governance frameworks, and best practices to ensure transparency, consistency, and high-quality outcomes across all transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate administrative activities, including correspondence, SharePoint sites, project plans, calendars, and meeting management
- Support the delivery of project plans tailored to specific client outcomes
- Coordinate project information, tracking, and reporting across multiple initiatives
- Maintain documentation and knowledge management across systems, processes, and platforms, championing best practice
- Compile and maintain data for reports, account development plans, action trackers, and databases
- Coordinate regular updates to RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) logs
- Support Project Managers with project health checks and governance activities
- Organise and support meetings with boards, steering groups, project managers, and programme stakeholders, including preparation and timely distribution of materials
Person Specification
- Proven work experience within an office environment
- Experience in a coordination or administrative role within a wider team
- Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong ability to build effective professional relationships
- Ability to work to demanding schedules and tight deadlines
- Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised, responsive, and able to multi-task effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
