Our client, a leading provider of integrated highways management, maintenance, and civil engineering services, are seeking an Administrator to join their team in Crewe.

This is a varied administrative role offering the opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders, coordinate key processes, and contribute to the delivery of essential services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and production of documentation and legal packs for development projects.
  • Assist with the calculation, preparation and issue of project-related correspondence.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure processes are followed and activities progress efficiently.
  • Respond to enquiries, provide updates and help maintain excellent stakeholder communication.
  • Coordinate with a range of departments to support project delivery and information sharing.
  • Engage professionally with clients, stakeholders and external partners.
  • Prepare spreadsheets, reports and presentations using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Assist with monitoring work programmes and tracking project progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and support performance reporting activities.
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with additional team priorities when required.

Essential Skills & Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good IT skills and confidence working with digital systems and data.
  • Ability to take a logical and methodical approach to work.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach when priorities change.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • An understanding of highways-related processes or legislation would be advantageous.
