The role
As an Adult Locality Social Worker, you’ll support adults with a range of needs to live as independently and safely as possible in their own homes and communities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing Care Act assessments, reviews and support plans
- Managing complex caseloads within the community
- Undertaking safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments
- Working closely with families, health professionals, providers and partner agencies
- Supporting adults to access the right care, services and resources
- Promoting independence, choice and positive outcomes
What you’ll need
- A recognised Social Work qualification
- Active Social Work England registration
- Experience in Adult Social Care, preferably within a locality or community team
- Confidence managing a busy caseload and undertaking community visits
- Strong assessment, safeguarding and care-planning skills
