Adult Social Worker – Make a Difference with Haringey Council

London Borough of Haringey Council is looking for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join their team on a full-time locum basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner seeking a rewarding role within a supportive local authority, helping adults maximise their independence and wellbeing.

Pay Rate

  • £32.00 per hour (Umbrella)

Location

  • London Borough of Haringey

  • Hybrid working available (working pattern to be discussed at interview)

Contract

  • Full-time

  • Monday to Friday

  • ASAP start

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload using a strengths-based approach to support adults in achieving greater independence.

  • Complete assessments, reviews and support plans.

  • Work closely with residents, carers, health professionals and partner agencies to deliver positive outcomes.

  • Coordinate short-term care and support carers to help prevent breakdown.

  • Participate in safeguarding, risk assessments and protection planning.

  • Maintain accurate case records and prepare documentation where required.

  • Work collaboratively within a Multi-Disciplinary Team to deliver person-centred services.

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.

  • Adult Social Work experience with strong assessment and care planning skills.

  • Good knowledge of the Care Act, safeguarding and strengths-based practice.

  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment.
