SW Locums is recruiting an experienced Adult Social Worker to join the Mental Health Team at the London Borough of Hackney. This is a great opportunity for a confident practitioner to support adults with mental health needs and work as part of a collaborative health and social care service.

Role Details

  • Location: London Borough of Hackney

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Contract: Full-time locum

  • Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

  • Pay Rate: £32.00 per hour (Umbrella)

The Role
You will support adults with a range of mental health needs, completing assessments, coordinating care and promoting independence through strengths-based practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete Care Act assessments, reviews and support plans.

  • Manage a caseload of adults with mental health needs.

  • Work closely with individuals, carers and partner agencies.

  • Support safeguarding, risk assessments and Mental Capacity Act processes.

  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate case records and statutory documentation.

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.

  • Strong Adult Social Care experience.

  • Mental Health Social Work experience is essential.

  • Good knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding.
