A globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Denham is recruiting an Aerospace Finishing Operative to join its finishing department, with a focus on precision masking of safety-critical components.

This is meticulous, detail-driven work — the kind where getting it right every time genuinely matters. You’ll be trained across other finishing processes over time, giving you real scope to grow your skills and build a long-term career within a stable, well-established team backed by over a decade of secured contracts.

The Role:

• Masking complex aerospace components using tapes, plugs and bungs prior to specialist coating

• Handling small, intricate parts with precision and care

• Unmasking finished components and performing visual defect checks

• Working to engineering drawings and process specifications

• Supporting the wider finishing team as your cross-training develops

• Upholding consistently high standards on safety-critical parts at all times

What We’re Looking For:

• Background in manufacturing or engineering — any hands-on production environment will be considered

• Strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination and confidence with small, intricate components

• Awareness of H&S procedures and quality standards

• Ability to read engineering drawings — full training provided

• GCSE grades D–G or equivalent

• Surface preparation or finishing experience is a bonus, not a requirement

• £3,000 signing bonus paid within the first year

• Days: Mon–Thu 08:00–17:00 / Fri 08:00–12:00
