The Brookes Recruitment Group is recruiting reliable and compassionate Support Workers/Carers for agency work within a care service in Leicester.

We are looking for candidates who can provide safe, respectful and person-centred support while working professionally as part of an established care team.

The Role

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting individuals with their daily routines
• Providing personal care where required
• Promoting independence, dignity and choice
• Supporting with activities and community access
• Monitoring wellbeing and reporting concerns
• Completing accurate care records and handovers
• Following individual support plans and risk assessments
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and professional conduct

Requirements

Applicants should have:

• Previous experience within care, support work or a similar setting
• A compassionate, patient and reliable approach
• Good communication and record-keeping skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility to work the required shift pattern
• The right to work in the UK
• An enhanced DBS or willingness to complete the required checks
• Suitable references and compliance documentation
