HVAC Commissioning Engineer

Location: West Midlands | Field Based
Salary: £55,000 - £62,000 + Company Van + Overtime + Expenses
Hours: 40 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

We're looking for an experienced HVAC Commissioning Engineer to join a growing field-based team across the West Midlands.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer with strong commissioning and fault-finding experience who wants to work across a broad range of HVAC equipment and continue developing their technical skills.



The Role

You'll be responsible for commissioning, servicing, fault-finding and optimising HVAC equipment on customer sites, ensuring systems are operating safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You'll work across equipment including:

  • Air Handling Units (AHUs)
  • Close Control Units / CRAC Units
  • Chillers
  • 4-pipe air source heat pump systems
  • Fan Coil Units
  • HVAC controls and associated equipment

You'll also complete site risk assessments, support customers and identify opportunities for additional works where appropriate.



What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in HVAC commissioning and fault-finding
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and associated controls
  • Ability to diagnose issues and optimise system performance
  • Willingness to develop knowledge across different HVAC product ranges
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces
  • F-Gas / City & Guilds 2079 / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent - desirable
  • Electrical qualifications or experience - advantageous
  • DBS clearance, or willingness to obtain one
