Job Title : Air Conditioning Engineer
Location : Bristol / Oxford
Salary & Package
- Air Conditioning Engineer: £40,000 – £46,000
- £5,000 annual performance bonus ( based on sickness and paper work paid yearly)
- Jobs planned 2–3 weeks in advance so you can preplan
- 40 hours on site
- 1.5 hours travel time paid each day
- 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays + birthday off
- 15-day sick pay after probation period
- Option to travel by train ( bonus for this ) but you must still hold a drivers license
- 1 in 12 on-call rota
- £75 standby
- £50 per call out
- Paid 5-hour minimum call out

The Role
Founded over 50 years ago, we have become a leader in the South East providing a broad range of clients a first class service. You will be working across commercial sites, mainly office buildings carrying out a mix of planned preventative maintenance and reactive works on air conditioning and/or chiller systems. The role offers a stable workload, strong support, and forward-planned scheduling wherever possible.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintenance and fault finding on AC systems (splits, VRF/VRV)
- Chiller maintenance and repairs (for chiller engineers)
- Carrying out PPMs and reactive breakdowns
- Accurate job reporting via PDA
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service
- Participation in the on-call rota
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning and/or Chiller Engineer
- Relevant industry qualifications (F-Gas essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Professional attitude with strong fault-finding skills
