Job Title : Air Conditioning Engineer

Location : Bristol / Oxford 

Salary & Package

• Air Conditioning Engineer: £40,000 – £46,000
• £5,000 annual performance bonus ( based on sickness and paper work paid yearly)
• Jobs planned 2–3 weeks in advance so you can preplan
• 40 hours on site
• 1.5 hours travel time paid each day
• 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays + birthday off
• 15-day sick pay after probation period
• Option to travel by train ( bonus for this )  but you must still hold a drivers license
• 1 in 12 on-call rota
  • £75 standby
  • £50 per call out
  • Paid 5-hour minimum call out

The Role

Founded over 50 years ago, we have become a leader in the South East providing a broad range of clients a first class service. You will be working across commercial sites, mainly office buildings carrying out a mix of planned preventative maintenance and reactive works on air conditioning and/or chiller systems. The role offers a stable workload, strong support, and forward-planned scheduling wherever possible.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and fault finding on AC systems (splits, VRF/VRV)
• Chiller maintenance and repairs (for chiller engineers)
• Carrying out PPMs and reactive breakdowns
• Accurate job reporting via PDA
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service
• Participation in the on-call rota

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning and/or Chiller Engineer
• Relevant industry qualifications (F-Gas essential)
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Professional attitude with strong fault-finding skills
