About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mobile Air Conditioning & Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a newly established division within the business, offering genuine long-term career progression as the department expands.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a mixture of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and air conditioning installations across a portfolio of commercial sites throughout London, Kent, Hampshire, and Sussex.

The role will involve a significant amount of lone working, although certain projects and installations may be completed alongside another engineer as part of a two person team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on air conditioning systems.
  • Attend reactive maintenance and breakdown call-outs.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
  • Undertake air conditioning installations and small project works.
  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service whilst on-site.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment to a high standard.

Requirements

Essential

  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.
  • Valid F-Gas Certification.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills.

Desirable

  • Experience within either a commercial or domestic environment.
  • Experience carrying out both maintenance and installation works.
  • Additional HVAC qualifications would be advantageous.

Working Hours & Call-Outs

  • Standard 40-hour working week.
  • Call-out work will be required.
