A Derbyshire based, family run Building Services Contractor specialising in Commercial and Industrial projects across the Midlands is seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer.

The Air Conditioning Engineer will be responsible for carrying out the installation of air conditioning systems on Commercial projects nationwide, working predominantly with VRV and VRF systems.

The successful Air Conditioning Engineer will:

• Carry out first and second fix installation of VRV/VRF air conditioning systems on commercial projects.
• Install pipework, refrigerant lines, ductwork and associated containment in line with design drawings and manufacturer specifications.
• Work away from home as required to cover nationwide sites.
• Liaise with the Site/Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed to programme and to the required standard.
• Carry out pressure testing, vacuum testing and gas charging of systems.
• Ensure all installation work is completed safely and in compliance with current Health & Safety regulations.

Air Conditioning Engineer Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer, AC Installation Engineer, or HVAC Installation Engineer.
• Proven experience installing VRV/VRF systems on commercial projects.
• F-Gas qualification.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent) desirable.
• ECS/CSCS card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home on nationwide projects.
