Air Conditioning Commissioning Engineer
Location: Manchester / Stoke / Staffordshire
Salary: Circa £45,000 + Company Vehicle / Car Allowance
Hours: Monday–Friday | No Weekends
We’re looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a specialist technical team covering the Midlands and North West.
This is a little different from a traditional service role. The focus is on commissioning, fault finding and technical support, generally completing one planned site visit per day rather than moving between multiple service calls.
Once the job and reporting are complete, you’re finished for the day.
The Role
- Commissioning VRV / VRF and Air Conditioning systems
- Technical fault finding and diagnostics
- Supporting contractors and installation teams on-site
- Completing commissioning reports and technical documentation
- Managing your own diary and planned site visits
- Primarily covering Manchester, Stoke, Staffordshire, the Midlands and North West
- Typically, one site/job per day
- Friday generally reserved for reports, administration and technical follow-up
What We're Looking For
- Experienced Air Conditioning / VRV / VRF Engineer
- Strong commissioning and fault-finding experience
- Confident working independently on-site
- Manufacturer experience with Mitsubishi Heavy, Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Fujitsu or similar equipment welcomed
- Strong technical and diagnostic ability
- Comfortable covering a regional territory
