We're recruiting an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer for an established, family-run cooling and heating specialist based in Hampshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with experience in air conditioning, commercial refrigeration and cooling systems to undertake a varied role covering installation, servicing, maintenance and fault finding.

You'll work across permanent and temporary cooling installations, supporting commercial customers and specialist applications throughout the UK.

• Service and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment, cold rooms and cooling systems

• Work with chillers, fan coil units and associated HVAC equipment

• Carry out refrigerant leak detection, pressure testing and system repairs

• Maintain compressors, condensers, evaporators and refrigeration controls

• Support temporary cooling and refrigeration installations

• Install and commission portable air conditioning and specialist cooling equipment

• Attend customer sites for planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs

• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation

• Provide technical support and professional customer service

• Ensure all work meets relevant safety and F-Gas regulations

• Experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer, Refrigeration Engineer or HVAC Service Engineer

• Valid F-Gas Category 1 qualification

• Strong understanding of air conditioning and refrigeration systems

• Experience with installation, servicing, maintenance and fault finding

• Good electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills

• Knowledge of compressors, condensers, evaporators and refrigeration controls

• Experience with commercial refrigeration, cold rooms or chillers advantageous

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities

• Professional and customer-focused

• Willingness to travel to customer sites

• Full UK driving licence

• Ideally based within 20 miles of Lymington

• £40,000 - £45,000 basic salary

• £50,000 - £55,000 including door to door and bonus

• Full-time, permanent position

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer looking for a varied role combining traditional air conditioning with commercial refrigeration and specialist cooling applications.

You'll work on a range of systems, including split air conditioning, commercial refrigeration equipment, chillers and temporary cooling installations, developing your technical knowledge across multiple disciplines.

The position offers opportunities to progress into senior engineering and supervisory responsibilities.
