Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer looking for a permanent position with a well-established company that genuinely invests in its engineers?
We are recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join a growing team based from the East Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified AC Installation Engineer with strong commercial and industrial experience who is looking for a long-term career, excellent earning potential and first-class training.
The Role
As an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of a wide range of air conditioning systems and equipment across commercial and industrial customer sites.
You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure all equipment is installed correctly, commissioned to a high standard and delivered in line with the customer's specification.
This is a mobile Air Conditioning Engineer role, covering Northampton, the East Midlands and sites across the UK, so flexibility to travel and work away when required is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of a wide range of commercial and industrial air conditioning systems.
- Commissioning air conditioning equipment following installation.
- Working closely with Project Managers to deliver projects to specification.
- Ensuring all installations are completed to a high standard.
- Working safely and in accordance with relevant industry regulations.
- Diagnosing and resolving installation-related issues where required.
- Maintaining excellent standards of customer service.
- Communicating effectively with customers and site teams.
- Explaining technical information clearly to clients.
- Completing relevant paperwork and documentation.
- Travelling throughout Northampton, the East Midlands and across the UK.
The successful Air Conditioning Installation Engineer will have:
- Proven experience working as an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer / AC Engineer.
- Strong experience installing and commissioning air conditioning systems.
- Experience working within commercial and industrial environments.
- Experience across sectors such as retail, manufacturing, food production, healthcare, education or similar.
- C&G 2079 Refrigerant Handling qualification or equivalent.
- Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good organisational and prioritisation skills.
- A professional and reliable approach.
- A full UK driving licence.
- £50,000 salary DOE
- Overtime available
