Air Conditioning Installation Engineer in Manchester

£35,000-£42,000 + Door-to-Door Travel | Immediate Start

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join an established engineering business in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who takes real pride in their installations, works to a high standard and wants to join a company that values attitude, reliability and quality workmanship.

The position is available for an immediate start, and I'm keen to speak with suitable engineers who are ready for their next opportunity.

You'll be carrying out air conditioning installation work across a range of commercial projects, installing split systems and associated equipment. You'll need to be confident working independently and capable of leading installations alongside a junior engineer or apprentice.

The role will involve:

• Installing split air conditioning systems, including refrigerant pipework, containment and associated installation works.

• Leading installations independently while supporting and guiding a junior engineer or apprentice.

• Ensuring all installations are completed neatly, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

• Maintaining excellent standards of workmanship, health and safety and professionalism on site.

• Working efficiently to meet project deadlines without compromising on quality.

• VRV/VRF installation experience would be a distinct advantage.

I'm particularly interested in engineers who have a strong installation background and take genuine pride in the standard of their work.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Proven experience installing split air conditioning systems.

• A valid F-Gas qualification.

• A full UK driving licence.

• The ability to work independently and take responsibility for your installations.

• A reliable, hardworking attitude and a positive approach to colleagues and customers.

• An apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3 qualification, although experienced engineers without these qualifications will also be considered.

Attitude is important. I'm looking for someone who is dependable, takes pride in doing a job properly and wants to deliver quality work rather than simply get through the day.

• £35,000-£42,000 basic salary, depending on experience.

• Door-to-door travel paid.

• Company van and mobile phone.

• Overtime paid at time and a half outside standard working hours.

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm.

• Friday: 8:30am-2:30pm.

• 20 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
