Location: Field Based with occasional visits to the Stourbridge office
Salary: £46,000 Basic (Negotiable for an exceptional candidate) + Overtime

We are looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join a growing and well-established HVAC business.
The role will involve carrying out planned maintenance, reactive call-outs, fault finding and repairs across a range of commercial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. This is a field-based position offering a varied workload, excellent support and genuine long-term career prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive breakdown attendance
- Fault diagnosis and repairs
- Air conditioning and refrigeration servicing
- Site surveys and condition assessments
- Assisting with commissioning and handovers
- Producing detailed service reports
- Supporting junior engineers when required
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and F-Gas regulations
Experience & Qualifications Required
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration industry
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- F-Gas Category 1 Certification
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic experience
- Experience working on split systems, VRV/VRF systems, heat pumps and chillers
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good communication and customer-facing skills

Travel & Overtime
The salary includes a reasonable daily travel expectation, typically between 30 minutes and 1 hour each way depending on your location.
For example, if your working hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm (with a one-hour lunch break), leaving home at 7:00am and returning home at 6:00pm would generally fall within your salaried hours.
Any travel or working time beyond the agreed travel allowance will be paid as overtime.
