A specialist commercial air conditioning business is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join its field-based service and maintenance team aroundBasingstoke. The role covers both planned and reactive maintenance, working predominantly within a 20-mile radius ofBasingstoke, with engineers expected to work independently across commercial air conditioning equipment.

You will be responsible for servicing, fault finding and maintaining systems including complex VRV/VRF equipment, alongside participating in an established 1-in-6 call-out rota.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years' field experience working independently on commercial air conditioning systems
Strong experience with VRV/VRF systems, including service, maintenance and fault finding
Current F-Gas Certification
Minimum Level 2 NVQ Diploma / City & Guilds 6187 or equivalent air conditioning/refrigeration qualification
Full, clean UK driving licence
Based within reasonable travelling distance of Basingstoke
Strong customer communication and commercial awareness
PASMA and IPAF advantageous but not essential

Package
Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum, depending on experience
Full-time, permanent position
Minimum 40-hour working week
1-in-6 on-call rota
Out-of-hours breakdowns paid at a minimum four hours
Overtime rates of 1.5x, 2x or 2.5x, depending on when the work is carried out
Out-of-hours travel paid door-to-door
