The Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Service & Maintenance Engineer to join a growing team covering the South and South West of England.
The successful Air Conditioning Service & Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive service and maintenance work across a range of commercial air conditioning systems.
This is a varied field-based role, working across customer sites throughout the South and South West. The majority of work will be completed within a standard 40-hour week, although there will be some requirement to stay away from home when working on a particular contract.
Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain and repair commercial air conditioning systems
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns
Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
Carry out system checks and identify potential issues
Work safely and in accordance with relevant industry standards
Maintain good customer relationships while working on site
Travel throughout the South and South West of England
Occasionally stay away from home when required for specific contracts
Requirements
Previous experience as an Air Conditioning Service & Maintenance Engineer
Strong commercial air conditioning service and maintenance experience
Good knowledge of air conditioning systems and associated controls
Ability to fault-find and diagnose issues effectively
F-Gas qualification
Full UK driving licence
Good customer-facing and communication skills
Able to work independently and manage your own workload
Willingness to travel throughout the South and South West
Flexibility to stay away from home when required
Desirable Experience
Experience working on some of the following would be advantageous:
Split systems
Multi-split systems
VRV / VRF systems
AHUs
FCUs
Heat pumps
Commercial HVAC systems
Electrical and controls fault-finding
