Air Conditioning Supervisor

Central London & M25 Corridor | Up to £60,000+ DOE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Air Conditioning Supervisor to join a successful and expanding engineering business delivering works across luxury residential properties and premium hotel environments throughout Central London and the M25.

This is a hands-on supervisory role, ideal for a senior engineer looking to step into management while retaining technical involvement. The position is approximately 80% hands-on and 20% supervisory.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Technical Services Manager, you will oversee a team of engineers and specialist subcontractors, ensuring projects and maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising and supporting a team of engineers and subcontractors (up to 10+ personnel when required)
  • Carrying out installation, service, maintenance and fault-finding works on air conditioning systems
  • Planning and coordinating daily workloads and site activities
  • Ensuring PPM and reactive maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timeframes
  • Conducting site visits, quality inspections and technical audits
  • Providing technical support and guidance to engineers
  • Managing health & safety compliance across sites
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and internal management teams
  • Producing reports, job updates and service documentation
  • Assisting with quotations and identifying remedial works opportunities
  • Managing the on-call phone rota and coordinating engineer attendance when required

Requirements

  • Extensive experience within the air conditioning industry
  • Valid F-Gas Certification (essential)
  • Previous supervisory, team leader or management experience
  • Strong knowledge of VRV/VRF, split and multi-split systems
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong organisational and communication skills

Package

  • Salary up to £60,000 (higher salary available for exceptional candidates)
  • Company van
  • Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30
  • On-call rota 1 in 5 (telephone support and engineer coordination only, no call-out requirement)
