Are you an experienced Air Freight Import Operator looking for your next opportunity in Manchester?

We're working with a fantastic, well-established freight forwarder that's looking to strengthen its Air Import team with two experienced operators.

You'll be responsible for managing air import shipments from start to finish, ensuring customers receive a reliable and professional service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing air freight import shipments from origin through to final delivery.

• Liaising with airlines, overseas agents, customers and transport providers.

• Preparing and processing import documentation.

• Coordinating customs clearance and arranging onward deliveries.

• Monitoring shipment progress and providing customers with regular updates.

• Resolving operational issues to ensure shipments run smoothly.

• Maintaining accurate shipment records and supporting invoicing.

• Previous experience in Air Freight Imports within a freight forwarding environment.

• Good understanding of import procedures and documentation.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to manage multiple shipments and prioritise workloads.

• A proactive, organised approach with excellent attention to detail.
