The Role Working alongside experienced aircraft maintenance professionals, you'll support the inspection, maintenance, repair and modification of aircraft systems and components.
You'll receive support and guidance from experienced engineers, making this an excellent opportunity to develop your technical knowledge and build a long-term career within business aviation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with aircraft inspections, maintenance, repairs and modifications.
- Support experienced engineers and certifying staff with aircraft maintenance activities.
- Complete maintenance paperwork, work orders and associated documentation.
- Assist with aircraft movements and ground operations.
- Support the identification, tagging and safe storage of aircraft components and customer equipment.
- Safely operate aircraft ground support equipment following approved procedures.
- Assist with parts requirements and recording labour against work orders.
- Maintain clean, organised and safe aircraft, hangar and workshop environments.
- Correctly use and maintain company tools and equipment.
- Follow all company safety, quality and maintenance procedures.
- Support aircraft testing and certification activities where required.
- Work effectively as part of a professional aircraft maintenance team.
You don't need to be a fully licensed engineer for this opportunity.
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- An aviation or aircraft maintenance apprenticeship, or relevant hands-on experience.
- An interest in aircraft avionics, electrical systems and maintenance.
- Experience within an aviation, engineering or Part-145 environment is advantageous.
- A strong interest in developing a career within business aviation.
- Good attention to detail and a strong focus on safety and quality.
- The ability to follow technical instructions and procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
- GCSE/GSE Grade C or above in English and Mathematics, or equivalent.
