Aircraft Avionics Technician (nights)

MPI have a requirement for Avionics Techs to work nights on site at Luton Airport.
Shifts: Monday – Thursday
21:15 – 07:00 (paid 46 hours pw)
Half hour unpaid lunch.
These roles are inscope of IR35 - rates will be discussed on application.
No personal tooling is required as this is controlled by the company on-site.
Ideal candidates will have general electrical and Avionic experience. Possible modification on each aircraft moving from one to the next and need to be able to commit to the whole season.
They need to be able to fault find and test.
Candidates with a workshop background would be considered as well as those working on aircraft.
Duties:
Carrying out maintenance and modifications on Boeing 737 variants and 787s as part of their winter programme.
Daily Activities
Carry out modifications of aircraft systems such as installation of new systems and deletion of old systems. This included fitting new looms and wires into existing looms, terminations and component installation.
Systems testing post rebuild.
Scheduled maintenance tasks
Troubleshooting of complex systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components
A full airside pass will be required – 5 years work history / DBS / GSAT
