Aircraft Wheels & Brakes Technician

Oaklands Global are looking for an experienced and motivated Aircraft Wheels & Brakes Technician to join an established aircraft component maintenance operation based at Eindhoven Airport.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, overhaul and testing of aircraft wheel and brake assemblies, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with approved maintenance data, technical documentation and applicable aviation regulations.
The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, a safety-first approach and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will be comfortable working within a professional MRO environment and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, inspection, repair, overhaul and servicing of aircraft wheels and brake assemblies.
- Disassemble and assemble components in accordance with approved technical documentation and maintenance procedures.
- Inspect components for wear, damage, corrosion, defects and serviceability.
- Carry out measurements, dimensional checks and functional inspections using appropriate tooling and test equipment.
- Replace defective, worn or life-limited components as required.
- Perform cleaning, lubrication and other maintenance processes in accordance with approved procedures.
- Conduct functional and pressure testing of wheel and brake assemblies where applicable.
- Accurately complete maintenance records, inspection documentation and work orders.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved maintenance data, company procedures and applicable EASA requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Identify and report non-conformities, defects and potential quality or safety issues.
- Work closely with inspectors, engineers, planners and other maintenance personnel to ensure components are delivered on schedule and to the required standard.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.
- Ensure all tools, equipment and calibration requirements are properly controlled and maintained
