Alloy Wheel Technician

GBRS are currently looking for an Alloy Wheel Technician to join our client in Eastleigh’s preparation team.

You'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing alloy wheel damage — including kerbing, scuffs, corrosion, and cracks.

As an alloy wheel technician your main responsibilities will include:

  • Inspect alloy wheels for cosmetic and structural damage (scuffs, kerb damage, corrosion, cracks, buckles)
  • Carry out diamond cut, powder coat, and paint finish repairs as required
  • Refurbish wheels using appropriate machinery.
  • Assess whether a wheel is repairable or requires replacement, escalating safety-critical damage
  • Record all work completed accurately, including before/after photos
  • Liaise with the Workshop Team Leader on job prioritisation and stock flow
