🌟 The Role
Aspire People are looking for a dedicated ALN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide 1:1 support to a Reception-age child in a school in Monmouth.
This is an ongoing morning position, Monday to Friday, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with young children and can provide patient, consistent and nurturing support.
🧩 The Role Includes
👧 Providing 1:1 support to a Reception-age child
🧠 Supporting the child's additional learning needs (ALN)
📚 Helping the child engage with classroom learning and activities
💬 Supporting communication, interaction and confidence
🌱 Encouraging independence and positive development
🤝 Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team
✅ We're Looking For
🧩 Previous experience supporting ALN/SEND is desirable
👶 Experience working with Early Years or Reception-age children
💛 Patient, nurturing and understanding approach
👥 Experience providing 1:1 support is desirable
🛡️ Strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
🤝 Reliable and consistent, with a positive attitude
